"My husband and I settled in the area 3 years ago after work brought us to Central PA. We had been renting for 2 years and knew it was time to move on and buy a home. New to the home search process, we began working with a Realtor who - long story short - was extremely unhelpful and unresponsive. It was pretty clear when he threw a bunch of homes at us that were not even close to what we were looking for, that he was only in it for himself. Through the entire building and loan/mortgage process, Ken, and his wife Leslye, were there for us every step of the way. He answered our questions, took our phone calls, and always made us feel like we were his only clients. He even listened to us vent about the challenges we had dealing with our lender (we were bounced around from rep to rep due to "restructuring"). He didn't hesitate to step in during some very critical times to make sure everything was on track for settlement day. Ken even joined us for our final walk-through in our new home a week before settlement.

My husband and I have been in our home for almost a year and we love it! We sat down the other night and looked at some photos at where we were a year ago as we started to break ground. We were reminded of how incredibly grateful we are to have met Ken and that he was the one to guide us through. I wish that they had used "masterful" as a description for negotiation skills too. In 2004, I decided to sell my duplex in downtown Hershey where I had lived for 11 years with my daughters when my youngest daughter graduated and was heading off to the Air Force. I knew several real estate agents, but none that I felt I could trust completely. I knew Ken and Leslye because that same daughter had worked for them one summer. I came to know them as honest, trustworthy, GOOD people who treated Savannah like family. My goal was to sell the house and build a townhouse in a new development in Jonestown. Ken sold my house in less than 30 days for a great price and negotiated the purchase of the last remaining townhouse available for several months. He was so good that I was able to close on my house one day and move in to the JUST finished townhouse the next.

The story doesn't end there. Ten months later, I am engaged and decide to move to the Philly area where my fiance now lived. Ken not only sold my house in one week, but he masterfully negotiated a bidding war for the townhouse with the end result being the house sold for more than the listing price.

But wait, there's more. After a year in Philly, I realized that Philly wasn't a good fit (I'm more of a Pittsburgh kind of girl), the cost of living was awful, and I just plain wanted to come home to Central PA. I came in on a Saturday, having already narrowed my selection down to four houses that I wanted to see based on what I knew I could afford and would qualify for (with an emphasis on it wasn't more than I could afford, but would still qualify for--Ken would never force a house on someone that he knew was more than they could afford just to make a bigger commission). The last house we saw was exactly what I wanted, so I arranged for my husband-to-be to drive in the next day to see it. He agreed with my assessment of the house and we wrote up a contract on the house. Ken presented it while we were driving back to Philly, keeping us updated on the back-and-forth of the negotiations. By the time we got back to Lansdale, Ken had negotiated an amazing deal on the house for us.

Every year Leslye jokingly asks me if it isn't time to move again. We've been in our house for over six years now and when I decide to sell again, Ken will be the one getting the listing. I truly can't say enough good things about working with Ken and Leslye Huebsch on the purchase and sale of a house (or houses in my case).
